Down to Earth

by Betty Culley

One night, Henry wakes up and sees a meteor flash across the sky. It lands on his family’s farm and punctures through the local aquifer which triggers flooding, and drought, and lots of people coming to see the space rock.

Henry uses his passion for learning and his unusual way of thinking to solve various problems while keeping the meteorite safe.

This was an enjoyable read about a clever kid, although if you’re not careful, you might accidentally learn something about rocks in general and meteors in particular.
